Escola d’Estiu — Summer Programme
What is the Escola d’Estiu?
The Escola d’Estiu (literally “summer school”) is the summer programme run by the Ajuntament de L’Eliana (La Eliana Town Council). It runs during July (not August) on the premises of CEIP Virgen del Carmen itself. It is an option for families who need childcare cover during the summer school holidays.

Cost
- Enrolment fee (2025): 32.97 EUR per child (morning session)
- Canteen: paid separately to Contalabor by bank transfer
- Matinera: separate cost if booked

How to enrol
Online: Through the Town Council’s electronic office (sede electrónica). You need a digital certificate, Cl@ve (Spanish digital ID for residents) or digital signature.
In person: By appointment at the Centro Socio-Cultural de L’Eliana. This is the most reliable option if you have trouble with the online process.
Documents needed for in-person enrolment:
- Copy of the parent/guardian’s DNI or NIE
- Copy of the child’s DNI or NIE
- Child’s tarjeta SIP (regional health card)
- Proof of employment (if not registered as a resident in L’Eliana)
Practical note: the online form can be problematic with Cl@ve. If it does not work, go in person to the Centro Socio-Cultural — it is quicker than it sounds.
Payment
Once on the final list, there are two ways to pay:

Priority for registered residents
Families registered as residents (empadronados) in L’Eliana have priority when places are allocated. If you are not registered as a resident, you can still apply but with lower priority, and you will need to provide proof of employment.
