School canteen

The comedor (school canteen) runs during the lunch break. The service is managed by Contalabor (www.contalabor.com), who prepare the food in the school’s own kitchen. You can view the daily menu on their website.

Prices may vary. The canteen is a paid service. Grants may be available through the Generalitat Valenciana. Check with the school for current pricing and grant eligibility.

Canteen in June

Signing up for the June canteen requires a separate online form (Microsoft Forms) with a strict deadline. Being signed up during the regular term does not guarantee a place in June. Watch for communications from the school in May.

Daily menus are available on the Contalabor website (www.contalabor.com).

Contact the school directly about dietary requirements.

To be confirmed with the school. If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or needs a special diet, inform the school office and the canteen service directly. Confirm the process so it is properly recorded.

Mid-morning snack (almuerzo)

The mid-morning snack is regulated by the school. Only healthy foods are allowed:

Bocadillos are also available to purchase during the almuerzo break.

Foods high in sugar, processed pastries, sweets and fizzy drinks are not allowed.

On Fridays, the school sandwich is tortilla de patatas (Spanish omelette).

School trips and packed lunches

On trip days, children do not eat at the canteen. The school asks you to send a bag with:

Families whose children are normally signed up for the canteen need to fill in an authorisation form so they are not charged for the canteen on trip days.
