Local holidays in La Eliana
The La Eliana Town Council may designate up to 3 local school-free days during the year.

September and June: shorter timetable
During September (start of term) and June (end of term), the timetable is shorter:
- Start: 9:00
- End: 13:00
The canteen and after-school activities follow their own regular schedules. Confirm the exact dates of the shorter timetable with the school.
School celebrations
9 d’Octubre — Valencian Community Day
The school celebrates 9 d’Octubre with a dance performance. Children come that day wearing:
- Jeans
- White T-shirt
Christmas (December)
The Christmas celebration is usually held on 22 December, the last day before the holidays. Dress for the day:
- Jeans
- Trainers
- Long-sleeved top in a Christmas colour
- A Christmas accessory (hat, scarf, etc.)
Peace Day (30 January)
On 30 January the school organises a peace walk in which all pupils take part. The walk sets off at 9:30. No special clothing is needed.
Fallas (March)
The Fallas festival has its own school rhythm:
- 16–17 March: school days with in-school celebrations
- 17 March: the AFA organises a chocolatada (hot chocolate event) together with Contalabor. In the afternoon (~15:00) families can go to see the neighbourhood fallas (elaborate papier-mâché sculptures)
- 18–20 March: Fallas long weekend — no school
Trobades d’Escoles en Valencià
The school takes part in the Trobades d’Escoles en Valencià (a gathering of Valencian-medium schools from across the region). The event takes place in Riba-roja de Túria. Participation is voluntary. Event T-shirts can be bought but are not compulsory.

Leavers’ ceremony
There is a graduation ceremony for two groups:
- Infant 5-year-olds (final year of nursery)
- Year 6 (final year of primary school)
The ceremony is held at the Auditorio de La Eliana at 17:00.
Usual dress for the ceremony: jeans and the school T-shirt.

End of term
Water games day (last day of term)
On the last day of school, pupils take part in a gymkhana acuática (outdoor water games event) at the school. Bring:
- A full change of clothes
- Flip-flops
End-of-year party (AFA)
The AFA organises an end-of-year party on a Friday evening in the school playground. It is a relaxed family event — an informal picnic-style dinner. Details are announced via WhatsApp and AFA circulars a few weeks beforehand.
